How is (HHC) hashish made? We know how to do it!
Hashish. You must have come across this term at some point. This was probably done in conjunction with a banned drug with a high THC content, which is on the list of psychotropic substances. So what exactly is it and how is it made legal? HHC Hashish that has comparable effects to tetrahydrocannabinol THC?
What is HHC hashish?
Hash, hashish or hashish in Czech is another creative product made from marijuana. However, it can also be obtained from legal CBD hemp with an admixture of HHC distillate (HHC flowers). If we are talking about classic hashish, which people have been using for thousands of years, it is a light drug, but it is much more concentrated than marijuana. It can reach dizzying heights of up to 75%! Anyone who decides to consume it must therefore act very carefully, as this cannabis extract can really mess with an inexperienced user. This is no different in the case of high-quality HHC hashish, which has significant psychoactive effects at a concentration of 50%.
Hashish is made from the inflorescences of female cannabis plants, or more precisely from the resin. It is a sticky, viscous substance produced by all types of plants, such as tree sap. The production of HHC hashish requires precision, as any deficiencies in drying, extraction or pressing will affect the resulting quality of hashish. Different styles of hashish production have an impact on the final form, texture, color and flavor. In general, we can say that the color of HHC hashish should always be in dark to golden shades.
The origin and history of hashish
The word "Hashish" comes from Arabic and roughly translates to grass. Thanks to the early exploration of the African continent, hashish appeared in the Western world at the turn of the 19th century. For years, European doctors imported hashish to conduct research, which led to the discovery
of various extraction methods, which enabled the further improvement of medicines and the production of cannabis extracts. At this time, hashish could be obtained legally, and often with a medical prescription, for example as a medicine for chronic pain. At the beginning of the 20th century, cannabis extracts made up a large part of medicine in the Western world. Evidence for this statement is provided by pharmacopoeias from this time, which often contain hashish and recommend it as a medicine. A pharmacopoeia is a document that recommends or establishes lists of medicines, requirements for their quality, preparation procedures, storage and also dosage.
All of this came to an end during the 30s, when a strict cannabis prohibition came into force, which led to the banning of all cannabis medicines and also required the deletion of all records of the medicinal effects of hashish. This decision put hashish back on the black market.
Modern HHC hashish
In contrast, the history of HHC hashish is very short, as this type of extract came onto the market with the arrival of HHC of cannabis flowers, which appeared on the European market relatively recently. Legal HHC hashish is sold in various concentrations, usually from 20% up to a whopping 50% HHC, which represents the highest quality class of this hemp extract.
Hashish in the hippie era
In the mid-50s, hippies from Western countries began to travel from Great Britain, France, Germany and Italy through Central Asia to India and Thailand on so-called hippie trails. A big draw was the readily available, cheap and legal drugs that could be purchased along the way, including marijuana and hashish. In the 20s, the mass production of hashish started in Morocco, and the aforementioned hippie trails also played a role in this case. The detailed history of hashish is quite difficult to determine. Some sources state that the oldest culture of hashish production can be found in Afghanistan, which is today the largest producer of premium cannabis extract. However, hashish is still produced in India, Nepal and other areas where it also has very deep roots. Morocco, Spain, but also California and other US states have undoubtedly contributed to the popularization of the cannabis extract called hashish. As the legalization of marijuana progresses hand in hand, the production of hemp from home cultivation and the interest in obtaining hashish also increases.
Species and production (HHC) of hashish
There are several types of cannabis concentrate in the world. The main difference in its species lies in production. It can be obtained with the help of classic marijuana, CBD cannabis and of course also HHC flowers.
Charas
The Indian subcontinent is home to Indica cannabis and one of the oldest forms of hashish production. In India and Nepal, hashish (or charas, as the locals call it) is made by rubbing fresh hemp flowers between the palms for several hours. Finally, the trichomes form a thick, dark resin that is scraped into balls or sticks with a creamy consistency similar to chocolate truffles.
Bubble hašiš
Bubble hash
Bubble hash (sometimes called Ice Water or Ice-O-Lator hash) is very different from the above type of hash. It is made by mixing frozen cannabis flowers with water and ice. Stirring the mixture helps separate the trichomes from the plant material. The water is finally passed through the so-called hashish bags or bubble bags, which have different sizes of fibers on the sieves located at the bottom. The result is a crumbly hash with a consistency similar to crystallized honey. Bubble hash is very popular for its aroma, taste and extreme purity.
Afghan hash
In Afghanistan, hashish is made by mixing kief with a small amount of tea and forming a kind of dough that is kneaded at a low temperature until it becomes a deep black color, a high thick and smooth consistency similar to soft caramel.
Is (HHC) hashish legal?
Classic hashish is currently not a legal substance and is classified as a so-called soft drug. The effects of hashish are similar to marijuana and are therefore very individual. They generally appear within approximately 10 minutes after smoking. Through its action, THC affects the psyche and consciousness and changes the depth and intensity of the experience. The user's perception of time slows down. The influence of marijuana manifests itself in the experience of oneself and the surrounding reality. Consumers may experience euphoric states, some also describe feeling more creative.
Basically, the same characteristic fits perfectly with HHC hashish, which has recently become a big trend. Psychoactive effects of HHC are very often manifested in a similar way to THC, but with the difference that HHC hashish is fully legal. Of course, provided that such a substance does not contain more than 1% tetrahydrocannabinol, which is the highest permissible weight content limit in the Czech Republic, but also in Switzerland, for example.
CBD Hashish on the other hand, it does not have a hallucinogenic effect, and there is no risk of intoxication described above. In the case of trusted CBD and HHC stores, you can be sure that the THC limit is not exceeded, therefore it is a fully legal product that is as HHC Hashish distributed in accordance with applicable domestic legislation. After all, the cultivation of CBD hemp is legal in most countries of the European Union. The effects of CBD are only relaxing, not psychotropic.
A partial return to medicinal extracts from hemp comes in the Czech Republic at the beginning of the 21st century. Medical cannabis is generally becoming more and more available, and modern medicine is now seriously considering its therapeutic effects on various types of diseases. Medical cannabis contains a varied ratio of CBD and THC. This is precisely what determines the effect of the plant's flowers.
