What is HHC?

To begin with, however, we should first talk about what this strange abbreviation is HHC actually means Behind these three letters is a cannabinoid, or an element of the cannabis plant, which is technically called hexahydrocannabinol. Thanks to hydrogenation, this cannabinoid saw the light of day in 1944. This process is still used today, for example, in the food industry, specifically when it is necessary to convert vegetable oil into margarine. However, the original procedure involved handling illegal THC, therefore this procedure is prohibited in our region. However, the transformation can also be achieved using CBD cannabidiol.

The hydrogenation process strengthens the molecular structure, making the resulting HHC cannabinoid less susceptible to degradation and oxidation. Hexahydrocannabinol is therefore much more resistant and retains its effects much longer than THC or CBD.

It is certainly worth adding that the cannabinoid HHC is not only synthetically created. Indeed, we can also find it in the natural form of the cannabis plant. However, the main problem is that it is found in nature in the flowers of cannabis and marijuana only in a trace amount, which is not more than 1% of its weight.
