There are so many remarkable facts about cannabis that it was very difficult to choose the 000 most interesting of them. 1. The Royal Family and Cannabis in the 19th Century
This is one of a kind the most interesting facts. British Queen Victoria, who ruled in the 19th century, used cannabis regularly. She had it prescribed by her doctor, Sir Reynolds! Its analgesic effect was already known at this time. The queen suffered from menstrual pains, for which cannabis helped her perfectly.
2. CBD moderates the effects of THC
While THC causes euphoria, it can sometimes induce anxiety, restlessness and paranoia due to increased activation of stress hormones. CBD does the opposite. Not only is it non-psychoactive, CBD can even calm a paranoid person on THC! For these effects, people very often use CBD for anxiety and depression. Of course, be careful! 3. CBD and breast milk
Breast milk is rich in CBD-like substances. Humans naturally make their own "body" version of cannabinoids, as do most animals. These body-produced cannabinoids are called endocannabinoids and interact with many essential processes in the body, including the so-called endocannabinoid system. Scientists used to think that sucking milk by newborns was a purely instinctual response, but today's science explains that it is at least partially triggered by the activation of ECS receptors.
4. Marijuana kills 114 times less than alcohol!
While alcohol is happily drunk (not only) on the weekends, marijuana still remains on the list of narcotic and psychotropic substances, although the statistics speak very clearly. Marijuana aka high potency cannabis (with a high THC content) kills 114 times less than alcohol! It describes the risks of using these addictive substances a study by the journal Scientific. From a comparison of alcohol, tobacco and marijuana, the latter substance comes out best.
5. CBN has the strongest sedative effects
Even elementary school children are very often aware of the psychoactivity of THC cannabis. It is precisely tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) that is largely responsible for the strong psychotropic effects that marijuana possesses. However, you will be surprised, but it does not have the strongest sedative effect! Paradoxically, it is legally sold CBN that has the strongest suppressing abilities in high doses.
6. Hemp cigarettes as a cure for asthma

Thanks to the combination of hemp resin, belladonna and a small amount of potassium nitrate, patients suffering from this type of disease were supposed to increase the flow of oxygen to the lungs. Hemp and marijuana are most often mixed with tobacco. This long-standing unchanging tradition was first recorded in writing in the mid-19th century by a certain university pharmacist. 8. The world's largest producer of hemp is Morocco
If we had to guess which country produces the most flowers in the world cannabis market, the most common guess would probably be the aforementioned Mexico. But that is not the case. The first place in the production of cannabis is held by Morocco, a country famous for the production of top-quality hashish, which is mostly produced in the Moroccan mountains.
9. CBD also helps animals
