Cannabitriols were first discovered in the cannabis plant in 1966, and although CBT has not yet had many opportunities for closer and more detailed investigation, some of its positive effects in treatment are already known.

During the investigation of cannabitriol, it was found that it acts on the human body as an anti-estrogen and aromatase inhibitor. What exactly does this mean and how could CBT contribute to the world of treatment?
Anti-estrogens, as their name suggests, block and suppress the production of estrogen in the body. Estrogen functions in the body as a female hormone responsible for reproduction and sexual characteristics. It follows that one of the effects of cannabitriol may be to suppress the female hormone in transsexuality, specifically for transgender men.
This complex name actually means that cannabitriol may be effective in the treatment of cancer. Aromatase inhibitors reduce the amount of estrogen in a woman's body and support the treatment of breast cancer caused by hormonal causes.
