First, let's recall what HHC (hexahydrocannabinol) is. It is a psychoactive cannabis substance, similar to THC. This means it induces mild euphoria and relaxation, making it perfect for those looking for a weaker version of THC.

In 1947, Roger Adams synthesized HHC by breaking down THC. It is found in trace amounts in cannabis, which is why it is produced in a laboratory. The advantage is that HHC is more stable and stores better than THC.

It might seem that these two substances have a lot in common. However, they are different. HHC has two more hydrogen atoms, giving it a longer shelf life. It activates CB1 receptors in the body's endocannabinoid system, which can relieve pain, improve sleep, promote appetite, and reduce stress levels.

Endocannabinoid System Vs. THC, CBD and HHC

Cannabinoids affect the body by activating the endocannabinoid system (ECS). In addition, THC binds to receptors in the brain, and this leads to the release of neurotransmitters that induce feelings of euphoria and affect mood, pain and appetite.

However, not all cannabinoids are psychoactive. For example, CBD binds to EKS in a different way and does not have a "high" effect. The complexity of EKS makes it difficult to predict the effects of cannabinoids on the body. Therefore, it is important to approach cannabinoids responsibly and take a smaller dose at first.
