HHC vs THC: What's the secret to their difference?
Hemp contains many cannabinoids, most of which are not psychoactive, i.e. they do not contain chemicals that affect the CNS (central nervous system). However, this is not the case HHC nor THC. So what is the main difference between these two cannabinoids? What is the biggest difference between tetrahydrocannabinol and hexahydrocannabinol?
In order to understand the fundamental difference between THC and HHC, it is first necessary to remember what those cannabinoids actually are. As their name suggests, these are substances that are found exclusively in the cannabis plant. It is therefore not possible to obtain them in another natural way.
We currently distinguish more than 100 types of different cannabinoids in hemp. If we asked you which one is the most famous, you would most likely guess the first good one - yes, it's THC. Well, at least for now. With the skyrocketing popularity of CBD and HHC, this may no longer be true in the near future, but only time will tell.
What is THC and what do we know about it?
We basically answered the first part of the question right at the beginning of this article. But what do we know for sure about THC? The first thing we know about tetrahydrocannabinol is that it is the most psychoactive of all cannabinoids. What exactly does that mean? Probably the reason many people prefer THC. Its psychoactivity causes the so-called HIGH feeling by acting on the brain. After its use, there can be a general relaxation and calming of the body and mind, a feeling of excitement and a fundamental change in the perception of the surrounding world, which, however, can also be a problem during normal daily activities. Along with the fear of being affected by a strong effect on the psyche, we also get to why it is increasingly popular among cannabinoids around the world CBD – when using it, you completely avoid the HIGH state and intoxication.
Effects of THC
The cannabinoid called tetrahydrocannabinol has a very strong effect on the human psyche and body and fundamentally affects the entire organism. Feelings of euphoria occur after taking THC, but at the same time, dry mouth, red eyes and, after a few hours, ravenous hunger. However, all reactions of a tetrahydrocannabinol user depend on how the same person felt before taking the substance. This means that if you take this cannabinoid in a so-called "bad mood" mental state, you can with a high probability also expect the dreaded bad trip, which is a hell of a scary experience.
What is HHC and what do we know about it?
Hexahydrocannabinol is most similar in structure to THC, which is one of the reasons why we are comparing these two cannabinoids. Unfortunately, it still remains true that about HHC we don't know much, and the most useful source of information about its effects are internet reviews of people who already have some experience with its use.
Although we have only been learning about HHC in the last few months or years, the truth remains that hexahydrocannabinol was discovered several decades ago, specifically in 1944. As we explained at the beginning of this article, there are more than 100 cannabinoids in cannabis, so it is quite common that some of them are literally neglected for decades.
Effects of HHC
Hexahydrocannabinol is very likely to act similarly to THC. Whether the resulting effect will be stronger or weaker compared to tetrahydrocannabinol is primarily determined by how you use HHC and above all by the specific amount of psychoactive cannabinoid content in the HHC product. Most consumers evaluate the effect of HHC in such a way that it does not affect their psyche so much that they cannot concentrate on work or other duties during the day. At the same time, however, they are very calm and balanced thanks to its effect on endocannabinoid system.
“The effect from HHC is similar to that of THC, except that the effect is slightly weaker and lasts for a shorter period of time. I feel less numb after it and my mind is ok even while working."
Heliogabalus3, Reddit.com
In many cases, it may actually be true that the effects of HHC are weaker compared to traditional marijuana. However, this does not apply to cannabis from our store. Specifically, we mean HHC Ultimate flowers, which are the absolute tip of the imaginary iceberg called HHC cannabis. It could also be argued in the case of HHC pen, which with an astronomical 99% HHC content is one of the strongest products.
The difference between THC and HHC
From a scientifically based point of view, we know that the difference between these two cannabinoids is in their molecular structure, while hexahydrocannabinol is several times more resistant to external influences (heat, light, etc.). The hydrogenation process strengthens the molecular structure and the resulting hemp derivative therefore has a longer shelf life and is simply more resistant to oxidation.
If we were to focus on the difference in terms of effects, many members of the general public are of the opinion that HHC does not have as many negative side effects as THC. What this means is that it encourages creativity in thinking and related skills, and you won't be stuck on the couch for long hours without the ability to do anything. Based on these indications, it follows that THC should be used mainly in the evening, whereas HHC can be applied at almost any time of the day. Within reason, of course. It should be noted, however, that these are the opinions of people, not scientific studies or the company Miracle CBD, which resolutely rejects the abuse of psychoactive substances.
HHC sale
Unlike THC, the sale of HHC products is fully legal. Provided, of course, that they do not contain more than 1% THC. So, apart from HHC flowers, which products with hexahydrocannabinol can we most often encounter on the Czech market?
HHC pen & cartridge
A very popular and at the same time really convenient option is the HHC vape pen, which is ready for immediate use without the need for long preparations and expertise. Vaporizer pens and replacement cartridges including HHC-P of course, it cannot be missing in our store.
HHC gummies & edibles
The edibles category concentrates multicolored gelatin products such as HHC candies, gummies, jelly or teddy bears in one place. Extreme HHC gummies contain 25 mg of HHC in one candy, which is more than a solid serving of hexahydrocannabinol. We sell these candies with many attractive aromas, so everyone will find something for themselves.
