HHC oil and drops as the next hot new!
CBD drops and oils are the most popular products in the field of hemp CBD products. But have you heard of HHC oil, which could be called the spiciest version of hemp oil?
Hemp drops with CBD, CBG extract, CBN and other cannabinoids are widely sought after for their beneficial benefits on mental and physical health. Many effects of CBD have been proven by scientific studies. It is no different with cannabigerol (CBG) and cannabinol (CBN), about which we do not have such a large amount of information, but even in their case, the expected therapeutic effects are gradually being confirmed. After several years, when the market for hemp products was gradually filled with this type of oil, a completely new type of product with an ancient element of hemp, called hexahydrocannabinol, is coming to the scene.
Today's article is therefore dedicated to hemp oil containing a hemp derivative called HHC.
What is HHC?
In the previous paragraph, we state that this is an ancient cannabinoid. So how are you supposed to understand this when you probably haven't heard anything about HHC until recently? We offer an explanation. The cannabinoid called hexahydrocannabinol (abbreviation HHC) was discovered already in 1944. So exactly 4 years after cannabidiol aka cannabidiol was first identified and isolated CBD.
Both of these major discoveries were made by an American chemist named Roger Adams, who remains one of the most prominent figures among cannabis researchers. 80 years ago, this famous scientist managed to obtain a pure HHC distillate through the hydrogenation of THC. By adding hydrogen molecules, hexahydrocannabinol was born. But not quite, HHC also occurs naturally in organically grown hemp and marijuana plants. So now we are talking about obtaining a high-percentage extract, which a few decades later gave rise to HHC oil.
A chemical process called hydrogenation is still used today. Its benefits are mainly used by the food industry, which uses this type of transformation to obtain margarine from vegetable fat. However, we are not allowed to handle THC, as it is illegal in our region. We have to make do with usage CBD hemp, with which it is possible to work. So the process by which we obtain HHC is the conversion of the very popular CBD.
Effects of HHC
Considering the close relationship between HHC and THC, we can deduce that hexahydrocannabinol should have very similar effects to tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). The difference between these two elements lies in the difference of only one double bond in their chemical structure, otherwise they are completely identical. Since HHC has been forgotten until now, there are no scientific studies that declare the effects of HHC.
Therefore, if you want to learn something about the effects of HHC, you will have to rely primarily on the words of its consumers, who praise HHC above all for its effects on better sleep, mood improvement and general sedation, which they use for pain relief. Since hexahydrocannabinol is still largely unknown, we definitely do not recommend its use. The sale of HHC oils on our e-shop takes place for the purpose of use in aromatherapy, for the production of cosmetics, for further processing or sale.

But now let's get closer to the topic for which you came to this page. HHC oil characterizes hemp oil with the addition of a cannabinoid called HHC in a higher or lower concentration. On the market, we can mostly find HHC drops with a content ranging from 5% HHC to 50% HHC, which is indeed a strong cubature. Just like in the case of CBD drops and oils we can use many different types of carrier oils in production.
It is most often used in the production of HHC coconut MCT oil a olive oil. However, it can also be used just as well hemp oil with natural fruit aroma whether walnut oil natural. The highest quality type of HHC oil is full spectrum and broad spectrum oil, which in addition to hexahydrocannabinol also contains other hemp cannabinoids (CBD, CBG, CBN..).
The difference between full spectrum and broad spectrum is that the first-mentioned type of oil contains all hemp elements including THC, but only in a minimal amount, which must not be higher than 1% THC. In the vast majority of cases, however, we find less than 0.2 or 0.3% THC in cannabis drops. Therefore, there can be no question that it would CBD drops from hemp, CBG oil, or CBN oils, were supposed to have a psychoactive effect. Broad spectrum is a hemp oil devoid of tetrahydrocannabinol, which means that its THC content is equal to 0%.
