What is CBG?

Cannabigerol, or CBG for short, is one of many cannabinoids naturally occurring in hemp, alongside CBD, THC, and CBN. It interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system, acting as a catalyst for many bodily processes. According to current studies, CBG can even mitigate the psychoactive effects of THC. It’s often called the "stem cell" of cannabis, as its acidic form (CBGA) plays a key role in the growth of the plant and the production of other cannabinoids.

Although CBG naturally occurs in very small amounts, developments in extraction technology allow for the production of purified CBG oils. Some hemp strains now contain up to 10% CBG.

How to use CBG oil

The required daily dose of 1:1 CBD and CBG oil depends on your health needs and body weight:

• Low dose: 0.2 mg per kg of body weight
• Medium dose: 0.7 mg per kg of body weight
• High dose: 1.3 mg per kg of body weight

Each drop of our broad-spectrum 20% CBG oil (1:1 CBD and CBG) contains 4 mg of CBD and 4 mg of CBG. The dropper makes accurate dosing simple.

How to store CBG oil?

CBG, CBD, and CBN oils are stored in dark, light-proof bottles to protect them from sunlight. Keep the oil at a stable temperature away from extreme conditions. Store it in a cool, dry place.
