What are CBD drops??

There are two main cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. The first of these is the psychoactive tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is the most well-known of all cannabinoids and induces a "high" state when ingested. The second very important cannabinoid is CBD, which is not psychoactive and has many positive effects on the body and mind.

Unlike marijuana, hemp has a large amount of non-psychoactive cannabinoids and a very small concentration of the psychoactive compound THC.

CBD oil or CBD drops they are obtained by extracting the hemp plant, which undergoes a process of distillation through alcohol, resulting in the highest quality oil. During the production of the oil, other valuable substances, such as bioflavonoids or amino acids, are created as a by-product.

Cooking with CBD oil

When cooking with CBD drops, you need to remember these basic rules:

  • CBD oil should never replace regular cooking oils such as sunflower oil, which is commonly used for frying food
  • To begin with, just a small amount is enough to see how CBD oil behaves when cooking
  • Use the highest quality CBD drops
  • When cooking, it is ideal to combine CBD oils with another fat, as cannabinoids bind well with oil-based ingredients
  • Do not heat your oil directly. The ideal way of use is as a finishing oil or for use in cold cuisine. Any direct exposure to heat above 175°C will destroy the oil. When heated, hemp oil oxidizes very quickly and thus becomes bitter, further reducing or completely losing its positive effects
  • Follow the storage rules for the correct effect. The cannabinoid CBD is sensitive to heat and light.

You can add a few drops of CBD oil to almost all of your favorite recipes. For example, you can enrich smoothies, chia pudding, salad, butter or various dips or dressings, sauces and soups with oil.
