H4CBD is the name for a cannabis derivative called tetrahydrocannabidiol, which can be considered an upgraded version CBD. After all, it also comes from cannabidiol. It is obtained by adding 4 hydrogen molecules to the original chemical formula of CBD. Tetrahydrocannabidiol aka H4CBD is therefore synonymous with the hydrogenated form of CBD, which is approx 100X stronger versus the original hemp element. The hydrogenation process strengthens the chemical stability of cannabinoids, therefore H4-CBD is much more resistant to external influences that cause degradation of effects, aroma and consistency. Effects of H4CBD however, they are not similar to CBD, but to other psychoactive substances such as THC, HHC and other cannabis derivatives. It is a brand new cannabinoid on the domestic market and therefore we have very little information about it, despite being discovered over 70 years ago. However, reliable foreign sources state that it could have beneficial effects on the central nervous system, i.e. on reducing anxiety, depression and disease.
